Cruise Control

The other day I was driving on the freeway set on cruise control.

I was driving at a steady pace.
I didn't have to think about maintaining a constant speed.
I just had to be alert.
Could you have your Shaklee business set on cruise control?

In Shaklee, it can become very comfortable to cruise along at a steady pace; doing exactly the same routine every day with no sense of urgency. Which means, one might be very consistent about paying attention to maintaining one's personal group, at the same time ignoring the activities necessary to produce growth and increase one's rate of growth; day after day, week after week, month after month.

In order to produce growth, to increase your income, to qualify for company incentives, cruise control is a poor option. For growth to take place we must constantly ask ourselves,

"Who am I working with that sincerely wants to be a Director in the next 60 to 90 days?”

If you cannot identify two or three people with whom you are working who:
  • have a dream,
  • are 100% sold on the Shaklee products,
  • are sponsoring people,
  • are attending meetings,
  • are asking questions,
  • have a desire to move faster and build their personal group,
My guess is you are probably on cruise control. Your business is stable and productive, but you are not positioned for growth.

Get off cruise control; move yourself and your business up a couple notches. Since every new achievement starts with a thought, start to think about new prospecting and working hard until you have the two or three people that fit the above description. Think about growth, qualifying for company incentives, doubling your personal group PV, developing new 1st Level Sales Leaders, and moving up to the next rank. Just start to THINK! You will find the more you THINK about growth and the activities necessary to create it, you will almost automatically start to be more active.

Then, think about being a future driven, future focused, future oriented person. When you begin to accomplish your goals, set new ones.

I've always believed the most fun in Shaklee is the challenge of actively building and growing, achieving new goals and making a difference.
