We banked our future in Shaklee on the belief that everyone had a shot at a "big picture’ business.
Further, we believe that everyone is capable of doing the fundamentals required to achieve a big picture business.
The 1st building block of this kind of business is your personal group … your Directorship, if you will. With a big picture in mind, the ability for everyone to build, sustain and enlarge a solid personal group increases.
The non-negotiable activity necessary to develop a strong Directorship which provides the solid base for a "big picture’ business; a solid base for an organization of leaders; is presenting the business opportunity along with the Shaklee products.
It doesn’t really matter when or how; it doesn’t matter if you lead with the product or lead with the opportunity, you must present the business opportunity along with the Shaklee products at some time.
What is the goal?
The goal is to interest people in using the products and building a business based on the products.
What happens when you present the opportunity and products on a consistent, weekly basis?
-- Some will not be interested in the business, but will be willing to try the products.
-- Some will be interested in the business and will try the products because you will help them understand that it is essential for them to believe in the products in order to be successfull in building a business.
-- Some of those interested in the business who try the products will lose interest shortly after they get started, but may sponsor 1 or 2 or more under them during their time of experimentation; possibly attaining a bonus level with their group.
-- Some will continue on and build a larger group which regularly generates enough business to earn a bonus every month.
A few will go on to build to Director and beyond.
When you sponsor people that fall into one of these categories -- the likelihood that you have found someone that will be a Shaklee product user, month in and month out, year in and year out is very high.
It’s only realistic to recognize that everyone is not going to follow through doing what it takes to build a team of builders.
But, if you show everyone the opportunity, insure that everyone you do sponsor starts out with a healthy order of products for their personal use, you can guarantee your efforts will produce a solid personal group that has great potential to grow, while at the same time being the incubator for an organization of Directors and Coordinators.
