Greetings,
Great eye opener for Susan. Susan is doing a terrific job of moving forward and she had an aha experience about how to view activity and goals. My comments in blue.

Hi Gary,
I wanted to share my week with you... (this week) ... I read and listened to tapes and I got out there and talked to people. I would like to share what happened as a result ... First of all I studied Nancy Haines' recent e-mail. IT MADE SENSE TO ME THAT I WAS LOOKING AT ... 90 DAY GOALS NOT A 90 DAY PLAN OF ACTION
Susan didn't just read Nancy's e-mail, she studied it. Paid attention to it. Thought about what Nancy was saying and then accepted a new view of working Shaklee.
Next, I listened to last year's Chicago Conference tapes while driving. Jo Coogan was recapping a talk Kathi Minsky gave. Jo commented about planning and then giving your business 10 productive hours...in other words ... 10 hours with people ... it hit me like a ton of bricks! I GET IT! I need to be TALKING to people for 10 HOURS!
Again, Susan listened and gave thought to what she was hearing. Believe me friends, people hours in this business is much different than computer hours or doing non-people activity and thinking you're building your business.
So I came home, and I thought of what I did this week WITH PEOPLE, and I realized that I only put 2 ½ PEOPLE HOURS INTO SHAKLEE THIS WEEK! How do I expect to be an Executive Coordinator? Two to three hours just won’t cut it!
She is right on.....two to three hours a week people hours won't cut it if you want to talk about growth.
So I sat down and I made a "REAL PLAN"...I made a people plan! Now I have a target and a focus on how to work 10 hours a week with people. I really did bold unusual things this week. Bold and unusual for me, that is. ... Now I have a people plan and will work it.
Do you have a plan for yourself where you will be doing something that you would consider UNUSUAL? For some doing a meeting will be UNUSUAL. For some prospecting would be UNUSUAL. Think about it.
I decided when I give my "team five" report each week, I am going to tell you how many "people hours" I put into Shaklee for the week!
