What is the purpose of an In-Home? Whatever you call this kind of event…here are some thoughts….our 'point of view' if you will of how you might consider 'positioning' these events. In other words, not how you do the event…but, for what purpose do you do the event? What do I mean by 'purpose'? Well, there are really only 2 most likely reasons to conduct these events. 1. To sell products and earn immediate income (finding prospects at those events who in turn will be interested in sponsoring to buy products fall under this category) 2. To develop a strong new Director (a strong new Director is one who breaks out with 2 to 4 members who have decided to be Business Builders and are developing personal groups of their own.) Most people in Shaklee today probably are very good at setting up in-homes to sell products and create profits. But, when you start having In-Homes to build under your Distributors/Members & Business Builders, whether they are attempting to build a business or not, you are in the process of developing a strong new Director. But, I want to be clear, the actual In-Home itself is no different whether your goal is to earn immediate income or to develop a new Sales Leader. |
